Our traditional Maine fisherman's cottage was completely renovated in 1998 and sits on 1 3/4 acres with 350' of beautiful rocky and sandy Maine shoreline on a deep water bay. Enjoy spectacular open ocean and lighthouse views from 25' of continuous windows at the front of our cottage while relaxing in our Great Room. Petit Manan National Wildlife Refuage, 1/2 mile from our cottage door at the end of our surfaced road, provides hiking trails and nature walks in a pristine natural environment. See puffins, loons, terns, eagles, ospreys, guillemots, eiders, murres, herons, and hundreds of other songbirds and shorebirds on nearby neighboring islands, in the Refuge, and on our bay. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park are easily accessible within one hour of our cottage. Day trips up and down the Maine coast and to Maritime Canada (St. John's, New Brunswick: 3 hours) make our cottage the perfect gateway to Downeast Maine and Acadia.
Our two bedroom, full bath cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests. Kitchen includes full size range, oven, and refrigerator plus all the small appliances, pots and pans, dinnerware, and utensils you need to enjoy your stay on the Maine shore. Whale and puffin watching trips, kayaks, and other recreational opportunities available nearby. Season: April - November. Rates: $ 500 - 975/week (Saturday to Saturday) plus 7% Maine tax. Multiple week and monthly discounts available on request. Please see our website below for further details.
