Highway I-40 goes from California across the USA and ends up in Wilmington, NC. Our house is located just north of downtown on a private island that is gated. Many golf courses are located in the area, for example, one designed by Tom Fazio at Porters Neck Plantation a subdivision just as you enter Figure Eight Island. There are many museums for the adults and kids to visit in the area. The North Carolina Battleship and the Fort Fisher Aquarium are two of the most popular family attractions in the area. For the adults who like to garden, I suggest visiting the Airlie Gardens and Orton Plantation. For the ones who enjoy the outdoor life, there is so much to offer here in Wilmington. Deep Sea Fishing, Sailing, Snorkeling, Very Good Local Restaurants, Hiking, Fly Fishing, Biking, Pier Fishing, Water Skiing, Boating, Wind Surfing, Surfing, Marinas, Beachcombing, Yachting, Canoeing, Surf Fishing right out the back door! You can walk down the street and play tennis. You can go Kayaking, go to the local gift shop, grocery store, or even to fine clothing stores. Property rents for $ 2,500 Weekly January through April; $4,000 Weekly May through August; $3,000 Weekly or $600 Nightly (3 night Minimum) September through December. Renters check in Friday at 4:00 PM and check out the following Friday by 10:00 AM. The minimum stay is one week. This is a privately owned dwelling, it is rented fully furnished. Please email us for specific lease agreement policies. A 50% deposit is due by cashier's check which is non-refundable with the signed lease agreement.
